Overview
Mario Kart Overdrive is a custom track distribution created by Zeem. It was made using PackDev, and includes many tracks from old versions of CTGP Revolution, such as Nightmare to Dream World, Strobenz Desert and Horror Mansion. The author carefully selected skill-based tracks that give exciting races online and are unique and fun to drive. There are toggleable features, such as Mii Heads on Minimap and Force Battle Glitch. Thunder Clouds have been removed from online play so low-player rooms can play more balanced races.

Time Trials
Starting in v2.0, this distribution has a Riivolution option that launches a separate distribution for offline Time Trials. This distribution includes two staff ghosts for each track. The intermediate staff ghost is a challenge for beginners, while the expert staff ghost is a challenge for advanced players. This add-on also includes four bonus tracks that are exclusive to Time Trials.

| Change Characters Between Wi-Fi Races | MrBean35000vr | When in online play, the player's character, vehicle and drift mode choice may be changed between races by pressing or (depending on your controller) when on the VR screen. This simply takes the player back to the character select menu and then returns them to the vote when they have reselected. If the time limit expires, the currently selected options are taken. |
