Overview

Golden Toad is a character edit of Toad created by MysterE99 for April Fools' Day 2023. It changes his appearance to resemble the Golden Mushroom item. This supports all vehicles and includes vehicle recolors, an award ceremony model, a character selection screen model, CPU and LOD models, and icons.

Original overview

Golden Toad is the result of a successful experiment involving Toad and a Golden Mushroom. MysterE99 created it because he felt the Mario Kart series needed more metal characters.
