Overview
The Game Boy Advance (GBA, AGB) is a handheld game system designed by Nintendo. The system launched in 2001. Nintendo released three GBA models: the original, the Game Boy Advance SP (released in 2003), and the Game Boy Micro (released in 2005.) The GBA was Nintendo's third system in the Game Boy line, and is backward-compatible with Game Boy and Game Boy Color software. The third entry in the Mario Kart series, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, was released for this system.
