Overview

Flash Black Forest is a custom track created by AltairYoshi. It was created for the 18th edition of BillyNoodles's Custom Track Jams, where it placed fourth. It is based on Flash Black Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy 2. As such, the track features its main gimmick: the flashing environment. This was achieved utilizing PAT0 animations on many textures, and the outside of the house utilizes mipmaps to appear dark from further away. The flashing is slightly adjusted to the same pattern used in the original galaxy. Much like Bonita Harbor, the track is fully functional but was released as a Beta, as an update is planned later on.
