Sorry, I'm late (very busy last weeks). I added you distribution now: -- Wiimm (talk) 12:23, 4 January 2020 (UTC)

_d files

In talk:Intermezzo you provided many _d files. Are that really tracks to reduce a slow motion bug? And if yes: where are the non _d versions? -- Wiimm (talk) 13:34, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

Updating tracks

Hi there, I recently noticed that you had updated my Lavaflow Volcano remake without my knowledge and consent.
I have recently been working on an update to fix said issue, and you should have asked me on Discord before doing so, because now this makes this update pretty pointless and I don't appreciate you editing my things without my knowledge.
Regardless of that, you should really be asking the authors before updating their tracks, as I'd rather know what people are doing with my stuff before anyone does anything with it, and I'm pretty sure that goes for many other authors.

Sorry, I was just doing this because Huili asked me to. I can delete it if you wish. Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 16:14, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
Updates cannot be removed, but all I am asking of you is that you contact me and ask me about an update before releasing it without me knowing.
But thank you for responding.

My notes about this:
  1. Adding the LEX file doesn't change any other aspects of the track than the expanse of the item range online. The normal user will not notice any modification. So it is not an alternative version, but a bug fix.
  2. A LEX file is not necessary here. Centering the track around the origin will fix this bug too.

Thank you both for this. I am very new to the track sharing section of the community instead of just playing tracks. I will keep all these notes. Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 17:50, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

N64 Yoshi Valley

A hint for the future: You added

# __CKPT__
# cond lap from to show
    3 99 0 10 1
    3 99 11 52 0
    3 99 53 255 1

... but only the middle rule is needed:

   3 99 11 52 0

... because of the default rule "3 99 0 255 1" and the first-hit execution. -- Wiimm (talk) 22:54, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks! Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 00:38, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

Trial Moderator Role

Hi. Would you be up to be a trial moderator? Considering we could use a few more members on the Wiiki staff, I think you would be a decent candidate. --KantoEpic (talk) 06:27, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

Thank you! Yes, I would be most willing. Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 12:42, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Alright. I have given you the role. If you continue to be active and make consistently good edits within one week from now, I will make you a moderator. --KantoEpic (talk) 14:17, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

Introducing Users

Quick reminder that you do not / should not introduce the rules to a new user if they have not made a single edit on the Wiki yet.
You are free to do so after they have made an edit of course. I was told this by Kanto himself, so just try to remember.

Huh. I just thought that was back a while ago when spambots were constantly joining. Thanks for letting me know. Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 22:28, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Trainiax can you add download links to autumn raceway, riverview square, and rocrygma mines? Blake (talk) 13:05, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

I will get to them eventually. I have been very busy the past couple of days. Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 13:12, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

Blake (talk) 21:37, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

I have moved you up from a trial moderator to a moderator, as you continued to make good edits consistently and you are active. --KantoEpic (talk) 02:32, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Thank you so much! Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 04:37, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Blocking Users

Hey, I seen on the recent changes page that Sergio Gimenez Alcaraz was again blocked. He/she edited one page and created one prior to getting blocked. I just checked through the revisions of those two pages and I don't think those edits he/she did looked sufficient at all to warrant a block. The decision for you to block Sergio Gimenez Alcaraz this time has angered me and it's also left me to criticise the decision because the the decision to block is "manifestly excessive" and he/she did not deserve it at all for those two simple edits. -- Octanevinny (talk) 01:48, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

I didn't even know he was blocked, but I agree with Octanevinny. Blocking a person who doesn't know a lot about wiki editing doesn't deserve a ban, but requires help. I will unban him later this day, after you've seen and reacted to this message. 🚗 MarkAlbertsma03 (talk) 05:57, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
I agree with MarkAlbertsma03's comment about blocking someone that doesn't know enough about wiiki editing does not deserve a suspension. meanwhile, I unblocked Sergio Gimenez Alcaraz earlier. -- Octanevinny (talk) 10:01, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
The decision to block Sergio the first time was something I discussed a lot with Kanto, and we both agreed that he should've been blocked earlier the first time. The point of that block was for him to finally read the messages on his talk page about using the proper page format. Since his initial block ended, he had not made any changes in the way that he was creating pages. I personally believe that he had been given more than enough chances, and that the block was justified. Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 13:00, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
