Keep the following in mind as you contribute to the site:
- Make good edits. Always use the SHOW PREVIEW button to check your changes before you use the SAVE button. If you make a mistake, wait 15 minutes before saving the same page a third or fourth time in a row.
- Saving lots of edits without PREVIEWING will get the moderators on your case, and can get you banned from the Wiiki.
- If you plan to update a lot of pages in a short period of time, please clear it with a moderator first.
- Write articles in third person (using words like he, she and they) instead of first person (I, me and we.) User pages and talk pages are the exceptions to this rule.
- Use correct grammar, spelling and capitalization.
- If someone posts on your talk page, please post a reply.
- Sign all of your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
- Don't delete anything from your talk page.
- Use the Templates on the Main Page when making new articles for content such as Custom Tracks, Texture Hacks, Characters and other releases.
- We encourage all content makers to create a User Link to put on their release pages and to add it to the Author List.

Translations
Just saying, this translates (according to Google Translate) to Yugo Yugo Ruins, not Yugo Yugo Desert. Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! 15:30, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, I know, but ruins and desert are two unrelated things, and they are very likely to get mixed up here, because the track's name has the word "ruins", while the texture has the word "desert". Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! 16:39, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

- (I wrote this before seeing Krummers's post)
- First off, why are you google translating translations? If a translation is incorrect someone who speaks that language will point it out sooner rather then later, and edit it to what they find fitting. Secondly, any good translator will not translate word for word. They will make up their interpretation of what the name/text/whatever they're translating. Then they will rewrite it in whatever language they are writing, following their interpretation of the original name/text/other. This makes a translation that not only makes more sense, but is also truer to the original, even though it is not a direct translation. Lami (talk) 19:11, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

- Krummers: I can understand simple French words because English gets some words from French. Ruines is only one letter off from ruins, and there is a high chance ManginPlay thought it was called Yugo Yugo Ruins, not Yugo Yugo Desert. I only used Google Translate to double check that ruines translated to ruins.
- Laminator: I only translated "Ruines" because "Yugo Yugo" didn't need translation. I was pointing it out so that if it was incorrect, it would be fixed sooner rather than later. I get that they might want to rewrite it in their own way, like they could translate Sus? using slang or using the word "suspicious", but desert and ruins are two unrelated words.

- Did I stumble? I clearly stated that a good translation is not always a direct one. Mangin's translation was not incorrect at all, as he has explicitly stated to Krummers and I on discord that he chose to make it "Ruines Yogo Yogo" rather than "Désert Yogo Yogo" as he found it to be more fitting.
