Noob question:
I've tried to install 'mkw-fun-2014-11.v1' but I'm struggling to find the new tracks. I assume you use 'Single Player' 'VS' 'Solo Race' mode but then on the track selection I'm shown a left and right arrow for the 4 courses in the outer small boxes and the left, right and central ones are shown as '?' I can't select these, when I select the outer ones the track names are identical to the standard game.

- Are you using Dolphin? Dolphin sometimes has problems with the new tracks.
- If you are using Dolphin, try updating to the newest version. If not, try to re-patch the game
- Also, remember to sign your posts (without the "nowiki" tag)

Thanks, for clarity this is on a Wii itself. My Mario kart disc that the ISO came from is a US one though, could that be an issue? It loads with the edited initial menu so it looks like it patched correctly I've not got my Wii with me at the moment to try so will try again as regard to signing posts will the following do (manual) c_dunne (talk) 22:37, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
I'm back with it now. The iso I used was the NTSC version but thinking about it it had already had the Wiimmfi patch applied. I've deleted the clean iso and just found it won't let me make a new one from the game disc because it thinks it's already on the hdd. I've backed up the Wiimmfi modified version and will try and make a clean iso tomorrow. C dunne (talk) 22:48, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
