kHacker, I do have a question. For the new KMP Modifier, will the creation of KMP files be possible in the newer version?

- Yes it will, the new version will support RAM support which makes it possible to create a new kmp.

When I use this, it breaks my KMPs. They look fine, but they crash in-game. There's nothing I can do to fix it once it's broken. SZS Modifier loads them fine, but MKW freezes if I add item/enemy route sections, even after changing them to have correct next/previous settings.

- That's very strange, it works fine for everyone else. Try using lc kmp, edit something and test it ingame.
- It can be that something else is crashing or you are using an older version.

- It is LC's KMP that I'm using. I had one course that didn't load at all after I added an object (It was a test course anyway). I managed to save one course by checking it over in a hex editor.

Some notes about the SZS Modifier
I have played with the KMP Modifer (only a fast test) and have some notes:
- Please change the setup path. You use %ProgramFiles%\MyProduct\, but better is for example %ProgramFiles%\KHacker35000vr\KMP Modifier\ (author\toolname). I think MyProduct is only a template name.
- Allow resizing the dialog box (at least vertically) to view more without scrolling.
- I miss dropping a KMP file into the tool box.
- Some objects use references into a route as null based index (start point, e.g. "K_truck"). Therefor it is good to start the numbering of points within a route with 0. It's totally irrelevant, how many points are used before each route (KMP Mod count all and SZS Mod too).
- Each route has 2 settings (smooth control, cycle). I have not found where I can edit them.
- I don't understand your item route editing (same for check points and missing enemy routes).
- Each section can have up to 6 next and 6 previous links.
- Where can I change the single points.
- I use the name GROUP instead of SECTIONS to avoid naming conflicts with KMP sections.

I was just wondering what the sentence "Convert an OBJ to a whole section of objects & points" applies exactly? It sounds like what I said the Vulcanus for his KMP Editor too, where you place objects (OBJ tha you export from the SZS Mod, and import into sketchup/ect) in groups of their Objects name (Like a group in the obj called "itembox.brres), and then sub sections with numbers (Like each object is put into it's own sub-group with names in numerical order) and export an OBJ, which will then be imported and the Editor will read each object within that OBJ and it's Y/X/Z cordinates, and places the Object in the KMP. - It's basically converting all verticles to points and you can add textures to the faces (so creating a square will make 4 points) so it's also possible to put the points in certain groups. I'm not adding it in first version because Vulcanus got an idea like this too and I don't want to copy, what was for a big part, his idea because he knew how to use it.

Object List
If you want a text file with all Objects with or without the flags (like KMPItems.xml), just tell me and give me the wanted format. I can also create source code to use it directly in your software.

If you import a image, how do you know how large the pic needs to be?

- It's not very easy if you don't have a 2d model; Select all road polygons in the szs modifier and then it gives the min/max values. Write them down.
- Then make a screenshot of all polygons (don't change any point of view): You have to flip it horizontally and be sure that the road polygons fit exactly.
- THen in the KMP Modifier the topleft are min x and min z and bottom right are the max x and max z.
