Bugs in v1

A very beautiful track, but with major issues:

  • Slow Motion bug over the whole track even if playing offline in single player versus. Use an item cheat and drive behind the CPU drives with enabled Mega Mushroom. Mega Mushroom is always a good choice for testing.
  • Your video ar 1:53: If driving at left side with enabled Mega Mushroom, you hit a invisible wall and can't pass bend.
  • Your video ar 5:06: If you drive over the hill at the left side, you can_t enter the road. Change wall to road to fix it.

Tomorrow, in about 28 hours, I'll create the next Intermezzo for testing. This may be a chance for you to test with item cheats.

In some tracks, --tri-area=5 helped to reduce slo-mo and to remove invisible walls. But here only the invisible wall is fixed. -- Wiimm (talk) 17:25, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for your report. I'm currently working on fixing the slow motion bug by reducing the amount of facepoints as it's over 73K
  • I didn't notice the bug at 1:53 you mentionned. It will be fixed
  • For the bug at 5:06, I don't understand correctely what you mean by "can't enter the road". Is it because the rock is under the road's height so that you fall in the sea rather than driving on the road ? Do you speak about the design choice then ?
--Jiyuu (talk) 19:03, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
5:06: Drive slowly over hill. And then try to reach the road at the left side of the blue stone. The wall KCL prohibit it. -- Wiimm (talk) 21:37, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
Ok I'll check this. Thank you. --Jiyuu (talk) 10:42, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

Bugs in v1.2

The invisible wall is still there. Drive at the very left side. -- Wiimm (talk) 19:22, 11 June 2018 (UTC)

God, I didn't notice it. Thank you. Now it should be fine. --Jiyuu (talk) 20:08, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
So we have now 2 different published v1.2!? I call the second one v1.2b in my archive. -- Wiimm (talk) 11:12, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
If you want I can create a version 1.2.1 and put back the bugged v1.2. Like that any modifications are written on the wiki. But I personally thought that as the bug should have been fixed in the v1.2, it was no need to release a v1.2.1 or v1.3. But I could, if it's better. --Jiyuu (talk) 13:29, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
I want nothing, but you have uploaded 2 different variants of v1.2. And I call them "v1.2" and "v1.2b". My import agent sees all ;) -- Wiimm (talk) 14:25, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
Well then ok. :) --Jiyuu (talk) 18:18, 12 June 2018 (UTC)

Version 2.0

Thats not a bad feedback. I think V 2 looks to dark. Or is it the TV? --Snake (talk) 16:44, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

I think that you're right, but I like the ambiance of it in v2.0. Maybe it's because you've compared between the v1.0 which is much lighter ? In comparison, there is certainly a big difference. --Jiyuu (talk) 17:16, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
I think that it looks really good! But I do think that it might be better if it were a little brighter. I hope that it comes into CTGP some time in the next few updates! ProNA (talk) 22:13, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
Thank you ! And yes I know for the light. Maybe I'll change it in the next update --Jiyuu (talk) 11:05, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
"Maybe" ? -- Please do it! -- Wiimm (talk) 19:53, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
It seems that it's very important to you :D And to others too. Then I'll make the track brighter in the next update. --Jiyuu (talk) 09:46, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Old people — like me — and others too need high contrasts. Dark tracks have weak contrasts. And on older screens, dark tracks looks more bad. -- Wiimm (talk) 17:47, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Oh I see. :( It's true that it's sad to have bad contrasts in this track. --Jiyuu (talk) 12:50, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

Version 2.1

The track is now brighter than on v2.0. --Jiyuu (talk) 11:18, 18 June 2018 (UTC).

Nice. I dont have see a video yet. But i think its great now. Good track. Good job. --Snake (talk) 17:30, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
Thanks ! And I haven't done a video right now. --Jiyuu (talk) 18:33, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
I found some optical issues. First are the lighted windows. Turn left and right from the start position and watch the windows far away in the front of you. They are flickering. Same with boost pads. Drive slowly towards and you get curios optical effects.
-- Wiimm (talk) 05:03, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
Yes you're right. I already knew about the windows and had tried to fix it in v2 (unsuccessfully). I'll try something else for the next release. And I wasn't sure for the boosts. So, thank you. I'll see what I can do. --Jiyuu (talk) 20:15, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

Second KTPT to fix finish line position at minimap

The starting position of this track is far away from the finish line. So the finish line at the mininmap is drawn at the wrong position. LE-CODE can fix it: If a second KTPT point is defined, it is used as draw position. So I plan to edit the track and to add an additional KTPT to fix this bug in the next 2 weeks for the coming MKW-Fun. After testing, I will release it.

Is this ok? Which version number shall I use? -- Wiimm (talk) 12:45, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

Looking into the track I found, that the tracks has the same issue as The Plain of Atlantis: positions >131071. So I would move the track 30000 to the north to fix it. -- Wiimm (talk) 14:14, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
Yeah you can do it ! And I think the most suitable version number would be 2.6.1. Thank you ! :D --Jiyuu :(talk) 17:27, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
And no problem for the "moving to the north" fix. (I actually didn't know it also had this bug xD) --Jiyuu (talk) 17:45, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
Here (a German thread) you can find the current Intermezzo. It contains 15 tracks where I added a second KTPT. -- Wiimm (talk) 21:02, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
