I have tested it with removed face down roads and also removed unused triangles and it seems, that some KCL glitches are gone.

Lag

theres to much lag in the newer version it lags the whole track in multiplayer. that needs to be fixed right away. Soarin MKWII 01:17, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

I've removed and simplified everything I can but it still doesn't fix the problem in the slightest... RemyInTheSky (talk) 01:25, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
BrawlBox reports the number of vertices to be 100752. For comparison, GCN Luigi Circuit has 23121. I believe you're experiencing the same problem as GP Mario Beach; the model has too many vertices. This could be caused by how the model is formed in Sketchup or just by Sketchup's lack of model optimizations. I think throwing the model into 3ds Max and applying a few optimization modifiers should reduce the lag. --Torran (talk) 16:47, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
The lowest I can get it down to is 99516. Though I don't know what is it I need to do in 3ds Max to help reduce the lag as every other method of trying to reduce it has failed to do so. RemyInTheSky (talk) 10:44, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
I believe most of the vertices come from trying to create shadows using faces instead of a shadow map or something equivalent. The rest probably comes from Sketchup itself as 3ds Max reports the number of vertices even with the rough shadowing to be around 30000 vertices, which is much more reasonable. --Torran (talk) 02:47, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Bugs in v3

We played v3 online and have found 3 bugs:

  1. Position Jump Bug
  2. Lakitu appears without reason before reaching fountain.
  3. If you use a huge vehicle and drive right of the fountain, but very near, an invisible something (KCL or object) do curious things with you (reported by 2 other testers).

btw, I like v3 more than the versions before. Wiimm (talk) 10:46, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

  • I was aware of the position jump bugs in v1 and v2 but I have no idea what's causing it.
  • I think its to do with the checkpoints that originally go through the shortcut on DS Delfino Square which I found no use for in my track.
  • I have fixed the fountain glitch for v3.1 (not released yet due to difficulties with fixing slow motion bugs)
  • And thanks. RemyInTheSky (talk) 11:41, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Because 1. and 2. of my bug report: I have made a quick edit and fixed the group (section) bug in KMP/CKPT. Lakitu bug is now gone, the other needs a online test. Here is the new KMP: http://download.wiimm.de/misc/concord-course.kmp
Another point was, that some testers would like a smaller track. In my next online test series I will try a 85% version.

KCL Bug in 3.2 and 3.3

If you try to drive over the grass at the corner in the south west, you will be stopped.

Wiimm (talk) 15:51, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

I believe v3.4 has resolved this as I no longer hit an invisible wall while crossing the grass at the last corner. --Torran (talk) 21:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Confirm: glitch is gone. -- Wiimm (talk) 21:42, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

v3.4

This is a beautiful track as by the same delfino square. In this update there are many slow motion bugs on split screen modus. On one player modus only a little bit. Can you maybe fix it on future? I like the track very much. Really. --Snake 15:08, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

The lag is caused by a mishap during the construction of the model in which Sketch Up tripled the amount of vertices. The only way to fix the lag is to remake the entire model from scratch. I plan on redoing the model sometime this year. RemyInTheSky (talk) 15:54, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for the fast answer. I´ll be happy if you done it in this year. Have a good time. --Snake 15:58, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
I would love to see a "no lag update". The lag was the only reason for excluding this track from my distributions.

V 4.0

I test it. I found no bugs. 2 player splitscreen has no slow motion bugs.Very amazing now.Good work. Ilike it.--Snake 18:36, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
