Talk:BRCTR Position Editor
As of v1.0.0.0, it seems that changing time_number.brctr (and maybe some other files, haven't checked) crashes the game once you changed at least something (it only crashes when you're loading this modification with CTGP-R). This file contains the position and scale of the clock mid-race. Is there a way to fix this?? If I remember correctly, CTGP-R uses some code to make even more laps usuable instead of just lap 1 until 3 + unused lap 4 and unused lap 5 (since they're in this file apparently). Or is something like adding lines and other features planned in an upcoming update if there will be a new update?? - Have you tried loading it without CTGP? If it works, then that edited file can't be used with CTGP. If it doesn't work at all, send me the edited file.
I have a program that can edit the whole file, but it won't release since it can change a lot of important things that could cause problems.

I ripped this file from a clean, unedited iso, and what I edited was just the X-position for widescreen mode and regular screen mode. I don't if it's the file causing this problem or the program, but it sounds like the program changes something in the file?? I don't know... I tried this brctr file on both a clean Race.szs and a modified Race.szs (my own modifications). How can I send you this file?? - This is probably a bug in the program. The file constist of 4 sections which some values are editable in 1 section (the vectors). The other sections are written like they were in the opened file. Best way to send the file to me is on Skype but mail also works. Info can be found on my user page.
