Problem with texture mapping

"This track is currently on hiatus. The model was once completed, but was forced to be retextured, due to one of the texturing tools creating one new texture for every UV-mapping - and this was used alot, resulting in over 1000 textures when imported to the BRRES, which might cause heavy lag."

There is a way to fix this. Import your .skp into 3DS Max, then export as .obj and then import into sketchup again using FluidImporter (Download). Be sure to select inches even if you use the meters template and then check the scale, just to be sure. Then proceed as normal.
