It's not called "Blackout Road" for nothing. The textures of the track basically makes the track very difficult to race on, making you race blindly in the darkness. There are, however, ways to make driving more possible.
Development of Blackout Road started around the same time Red Sector A was being developed, which was immediately after the original Rezway (RC1) was released. Due to the simplicity of the track, the Beta version of this track was created and released before Red Sector A. This does NOT make Blackout Road my second track, as work on Red Sector A started before the concept of Blackout Road was even created.
Like Red Sector A, testing was done by sending ALPHAMARIOX the .SZS test file. He would then record his test sessions and send me the video file to upload to show viewers the progress done on the track. Again, very much so like Red Sector A, I lost interest in working in this track nearing completion. Maybe Red Sector A and Blackout Road are "adopted sister tracks," as they both share the same story, but yet, have no similarities within the tracks themselves. It will be recreated through Google SketchUp. Its initial release date will be between winter 2012 to early 2013. Possibly sooner.
On August 3, 2016, maczkopeti remade the track from scratch. It is much easier to drive on, as there are on that lighten up the turns.
