The first version of the program was finalized on December 2nd, 2011.
A reverse addition was released the day after.
It's currently in it's Beta atage, which means that it still cannot perform its main function, converting a 3DS or DAE model to BDL.
Currently, the BDL Editor can only convert BMD to BDL, by adding the MDL3 section, and by changing the file header and structure of the BMD model.
Another additon, converts BDL to BMD for SMG models in MKDD.
The BDL Editor's bmd2bdl.exe is currently known to support BMD models from the following games (If you find anymore, please write down):
- Luigi's Mansion
- Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
- Super Mario Sunshine
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
(So any 3D Models such as levels, and ECT can now exist in Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 from any of the above games)
