Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2016-02, the successor of Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2015-12, is a Custom Track Distribution made by Wiimm with much help from Leseratte. It contains almost all tracks of its predecessor with some updated and some new tracks. It will be released as ISO Patcher. This ISO Patcher can also create a Riivolution setup.

v2 is fully compatible with v1 (same tracks and more). There are only some private handling advantages:
- Change vehicle between region races.
- Original tracks allowed in region.
- Activity display in private rooms.
- Engine selection in private rooms changed: 10% 100cc, 60% 150cc, 30% mirror.

Random track selection bugfix	Leseratte	When you pick "Random" online (or run out of time), the game now actually transmits "???" (random) and does not trigger the CTGP Randomizer. Also, you are able to vote again in the next race (fixes a friend room glitch which forced you to vote random for the rest of the GP)

Room stability indicator	MrBean35000vr	The host of a friend room can see how many packets per 2-second-timespan were being forwarded to another player. This is a good indicator for room stability. Code slightly modified by Leseratte to actually show the number of packets and not just an estimated room stability ("Perfect", "Good", "Average", ...)

Integrated Gecko code handler	Offsets: Leseratte Patch: Wiimm	This distribution contains an integrated gecko code handler which allows us to use cheat codes to add new features to the game.
Lap & Speed Modifier	Lap mod: Geeh and MrEvil Speed mod: MrBean35000vr	A track can have anywhere between 1 and 8 laps. Tracks have a speed modifier applied (e.g. 2× speed) which causes all parts of the game's physics to move at the increased speed (including vehicles, items and boosts). Wiimms MKW Fun is now finally able to use the Lap & Speed Modifier to change speeds and lap counts for specific tracks.
Mushroom-Bugfix	Leseratte	The annoying mushroom-only bug online which only gives you mushrooms after 18 items is fixed now.
Cloud shrink time modifier	Offset: MrBean35000vr Patch: Leseratte	We have changed the time the cloud shrinks a player from 10.2 seconds to 5 seconds.
New random modes	Offsets: MrBean35000vr PoC script: Leseratte Optimized script: Wiimm	The four tracks in the "Wiimm"-Cup have a special behaviour online: They are no actual tracks, but pick a specific random variant: Random: All Tracks Random: Original Tracks Random: Custom Tracks Random: New Tracks (since previous MKW-Fun) Here you can see a picture of the Wiimm-Cup: Picture. See the next feature to see how those slots behave offline.
Track variants	Offsets: MrBean35000vr PoC script: Leseratte Optimized script: Wiimm	Some tracks now have different variants, like Animal Crossing in Mario Kart 8. Those random track variants only work online, if you want to play a special track variant offline you need to pick one of the tracks in the Wiimm-Cup. Online, the Wiimm-Cup contains the Random feature, but offline, the track names change and you can select specific variants of some tracks which wouldn't normally be playable.
Custom Menu System	Chadderz	This distribution makes use of custom menus to load custom course slots. The cup selection menu is modified with two buttons featuring arrows to the left and right of the main cups. You can scroll through the cups with these buttons.
Custom Tracks Worldwide	XeR and Leseratte	This distribution is capable of searching for random players to play custom tracks with. When running the pack, simply press the Regional / Continental button to search for players. You can also join your friends who are playing Wiimms MKW Fun, and they can join you. This feature is currently experimental, but seems to be working correctly. Credits to XeR for finding the required values and to Leseratte for finding the battle value and fixing the friend list join bug.
Wi-Fi Timer	Chadderz	The countdown timer on the Wi-Fi voting screen is always shown now, rather than just when you're about to run out of time. The time allocated is 30 seconds.
Wi-Fi Time Limit Expansion	Chadderz	This distribution makes a modification to the race time limit on Wi-Fi. It has been expanded from 5 minutes to 5:40, allowing longer tracks to be entered and played through to completion. Because the game disconnects you after 5:56, you get forced past the leaderboards quickly so you do not disconnect.
Draggable Blue Shells	MrBean35000vr	Blue Shells can now be held behind you like Red Shells. They will explode on contact, but not hurt the player. They can be used to protect against other items being shot from behind, but if wheelie-bumped while holding a Blue Shell behind you it will fall away and disappear. Only one Blue Shell can exist at once, so even when it is held out behind you it will be impossible for anyone else to get one from an item box.
Speedometer	Chadderz	There is a speedometer in the lower right hand corner of the screen. This only works in single player modes.
Wiimmfi-Support	Wiimm and Leseratte	Support to play on Wiimmfi has been added as a replacement to Nintendo WFC.
Versus points schema	Leseratte	The amount of points you get for winning an offline VS / online friend room VS race has been modified. The winner now gets 25 points
Translation of track names	Wiimm	When creating the image, the user can choose to translate all track names or only Nintendo track names to his own language. Optionally, the tracks will be re-sorted according to their new names.

Room settings	Leseratte	The friend room host can send chat messages like "You must use a kart" or "You must use a bike" and the players will only be able to choose that vehicle type. Also, the room host can configure how many races the GP should have. Maybe some more features will be added. Thanks to MrBean35000vr for a little help with developing this code.
No Lightning in team races	Leseratte	The lightning will not be available in friend-room team races, because this item is way too powerful in a team GP.
