Bot??

I'm a fan of tecnhology, but in the case of a translation, humans are still superior. What use could you have with a bot?
Chadderz 16:45, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

I use the bot to make translating easier, I still translate it manually but it automatically reads the english and saves it to the wiki

MainPage in other Languages

Why you deleted it? It took me long. >:(
PC Freak 09:35, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

I think, he done it, because we are an english wiki and it's useless. -- Wiimm 09:40, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Images

Please reupload BFGlitch.png as a jpg, or save with compression. 1.5 mb is too large. --Jefe 23:31, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that File:RockRockMountainPOC2.png is 1.9 mb. Please resize and save with compression. --Jefe 22:36, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

CTGP-R redirect

I notice you removed the CTGP-R redirect. I know there is also the CTGPR redirect, but the point of a redirect isn't just for a shortcut, it's also for people who don't know alternative names. If someone came to the site and searched CTGP-R it would be useful if it went to the right place immediately, especially considering that the correct page is actually the fourth result in the search for CTGP-R.
Chadderz 09:49, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

If a user enters "CTGP-R" he gets good search results. I think, redirects should be used for 2 things:
  • A real page was moved and the old name have either many links to it or is well known by the users.
  • A shortcut is often used in this wiki.
Wiimm 11:01, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
I agree with Chadderz. Redirects like that one help simplify searches for common terms. If you're new the the whole CT business, a simple redirect helps quite a bit, rather than trying to decipher the contents of several search results. Redirects also help more knowledgeable people reach a page quickly by typing in the abbreviated name into the search box. Redirects for CTGP, CTGPR, and CTGP-R should exist for these reasons. --Jefe 22:29, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Deleting Pages

Please check to see if these pages are orphans before deleting them. If anything expand the articles.--Jefe 12:14, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

I assume you mean the Nintendo page, I did it because the page was very small and it only contained a logo and an external link. -- kHacker35000vr 12:18, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
Quite a few pages link to the Nintendo page. It had previously contained copy-pasted material from Wikipedia (a no-no.) It was changed to a short page with a link to Wikipedia. In some cases, a short article like that is appropriate. The short pages about CT makers should stay on the wiki for people like Kwark who don't have Wiiki accounts. This is to prevent dead links on pages like CTGP, and to give some brief info about those authors. It's best just to expand pages like that if possible. For example, you could link his forum profile, Youtube, or similar. --Jefe 13:09, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
See here: Special:MostLinkedPages. 93 pages link to Nintendo.--Jefe 13:14, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

That pages contained a single line, not giving any information. And red links are edited earlier than blue links, as people want to create a page for this person. If someone feels to he can re-create the page with more information. The Nintendo page is unneeded on this wiki and therefore removed due the lack of information. If I can fill in an empty page I would do it, I have done that multiple times, but on these pages I couldn't think of anything. -- kHacker35000vr 13:23, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
Our responsibility is to ensure that the Wiiki works properly. How does deleting one of the most linked-to articles serve that interest? To fix this problem we need to take one of these actions:
  1. Recreate the page the way it was.
  2. Edit all pages linking to Nintendo to remove the link or link offsite.
  3. Make a better article.
This will need to do this for the other articles as well, Captain Kwark linked to 10 different pages. --Jefe 18:31, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Work for your bot

Can you set your bot to add <noinclude>[[category:Template/User]]</noinclude> to all uncategorized User Links? --Jefe 11:30, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Sure, I'll work on it tonight. --kHacker35000vr 12:09, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Iceway

Sorry i don't where i can put this thema on... Could you add Iceway v5.0 to the ctgp page for the final release to update it from v3.1 to v5.0? Mkwjason 13:00, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

About editing the News Page

I think a reason people are confused about editing the news page is that the "Posting rules" here say to "sort by historical order, newest first", which is fine for dates, but you say that older items within that date are supposed to appear first. Can you just edit the Posting rules then?
Zilla 07:44, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

The usage of "has released" isn't correct, for two reasons. It sounds awkward, because people use the "has" to indicate something that happened in sequence before something else, or something that is ongoing. For example, "KHacker released Rock Rock Mountain today. He has enjoyed making tracks for the past few years." To state that something simply happened, you don't need the helper verb. The second reason, is that news posts should be as short as possible.--Jefe 16:08, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Question

Hmm... Lately I've seen some CT's in the track wishlist staying unreviewed so I'm asking if you can move those CT's to Added after latest stream? Or do they just stay unreviewed?
