Keep the following in mind as you contribute to the site:

• Make good edits. Always use the SHOW PREVIEW button to check your changes before you use the SAVE button. If you make a mistake, wait 15 minutes before saving the same page a third or fourth time in a row.

Are you aware that [[Category:Broken Downloads]] only is used for pages which had a download but is not valid anyone? It should not be be used for pages which never had a download.

Translations

I deleted most of the tracks from MKW Hack Pack/Translation because most of them already have their translations on their page. We don't need them to be on another page because some users may update the tranlations on the track's page but not on this page and also vice versa, which just leads to confusion.

It's okay to keep the page as long as it only has texture hacks and tracks that don't have a Wiiki page yet.

Toad's Golf

Are you sure that you have uploaded the correct file? I ask because your RC2 is the same as my Beta from 2016-10. -- Wiimm (talk) 11:41, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

How embarrassing, I did some double checking to make sure you were right, and I look into the course model first to see if the textures were smaller, they are the same, you were right. I was sure I had an edited version tho, must've deleted it awhile ago. Also, renamed it from Toad's Gold to Golf.Huili (talk) 13:17, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

Pro CT Pack Decryption Error

I'm trying to download Pro CT Pack v5.0 Beta 3, and when it gets to 99%, it says decryption error. Can you fix it? Bri (talk) 00:10, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

Known problem. Unfortunately I can't fix it right now because my computer is currently broken and it might be some time before I get a new one.

Track Archive

Hi Huili, I see you reupload many tracks and I like it. Is it possible to give me a ZIP with all trackfiles. Then I can put them into my archive. And no doubt about always available tracks: My input script will filter them. Simply copy all.

I'll see what I can do, because I got a lot of the files from previous versions of Hack Pack that I'll have to upload individually FIRST, then make a zip for all of them afterwards. Also, I'll be uploading other tracks that don't already have a page due to the new policies of published w orks. About Star Slope, can you please check that again? You updated the track with version number 1.3 in the history, but RC1.3 in the bottom right info box. If that track is an update from RC2.1, it should be labelled RC2.2 or so. If it is an update from 1.0 (the non-CTGP version), i'd label it 1.1 or something else that tells people it is not based on 1.2. Countdown

Hi Huili, I can also enable the Countdown part for some regions. The you have to use "cd_NUMBER" as region patch. Just ask for it -- Wiimm (talk) 21:12, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

I have enabled CD for region 63. See @Wiimmfi. Now you can patch your files by: wstrt --bt2 cd --region 63

This changes the the region string from "bt_xx" to "cd_63". The main advantage on Wiimmfi: the region is shown as "Countdown" instead of "Battle".

KCL fix with my tools

Hi Huili, you fixed the KCL of a lot of tracks using my tools. What is your experience with it? Which version did you use and which option parameters for --tri-ht and --tri-area (or the default)?. I ask, because I want to optimize it. -- Wiimm (talk) 06:24, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

Hey Wiimm. I actually did not use the height or area commands. Tokuku helped me out with one of your older scripts. It's the one found here and an obj to kcl conversion. Huili (talk) 15:36, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

If you use the latest version of my tools and create a KCL, then you use automatically the new options with their default values to exclude small and invalid triangles. -- Wiimm (talk) 15:45, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
