Such a fast video reaction I did not expect. Hope, others will follow. -- Wiimm 15:56, 3 February 2012 (CET)

Star Animation

Hi Guilmon, I have a question. I see on your custom kart (Err, the purple one, I forgot it's name), that you got the star power effect to work properly. How exactly did you do that? My Sonic hack is complete, except he won't show that he is using star power. I'll hafe to re-extract every BRRES to fix it, but I may be willing to if you tell me how you did it. I could not find any files in my character that pointed towards that, so I'd like to know how you did it.-- SuperMario64DS 13:24, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

It's a property in the shader. I believe it's the "ColorChannel0" setting or something similar to that. Set it to match the same as a default kart/character (I believe it's Color0). --Digital Monster, Guilmon35249vr 04:53, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Deletions

I would suggest in the future if someone cancels a retro track, not deleting the entire article. Instead you can remove the info about the cancelled track (put it inside comment brackets) but leave the description and video of the original level. --Jefe 17:02, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Bleh, I didn't think about that. Sorry! --Digital Monster, Guilmon35249vr 17:58, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Your tracks

You can look into my tack archive for your custom tracks: http://wiimm.de/r/d/mkw-track-archive

Miscellaneous

I am a brony (My Little Pony fan) as well, but I don't usually tend to show it. --Michael (talk) 23:53, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

I'm always glad to find other bronies around. I do like to show that I watch MLP quite often. --Derpy Hooves (Guil) 01:20, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Coloured Font

How did you make the Rainbows Font, I know it has to do with setting the Image Format to CMPR (or a colour format), but I know nothing more than that.

I switched the image format to RGB5A3 and had to keep adjusting the positions of the last two sections until the Wii accepted it. Don't forget to alter the BRFNT header to match the new filesize and positions of the CWDH and CMAP sections.
Colored fonts can't be re-colored by the game, so player names will always be the color you set no matter what team they're on, and color-changing codes in the BMG files won't do anything.

Music

Hey, I'm not sure if you know or not, but I e-mailed you a few BRSTMs for MLP:RIM a few days ago. Hope you like 'em ;) Pgj1997 (talk) 16:04, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

I'll check them out. Thanks a lot! --Sweetie Bot (Guil) 14:51, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
