While you did not use it for a mod pack, you did not follow the second part of my guidelines by reuploading my mod and essentially claiming it as your own.  As the creator of the Turbo Birdo mod, I must ask you to take down this mod since you did not follow my guidelines regarding my mods.  It is not my place to ask you to remove the other mods you claimed as your own since you did not create them, though I must still say that uploading mods you did not create and claiming them as your own is shady.  --[[User:TravixMan|TravixMan]] ([[User talk:TravixMan|talk]]) 16:54, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

Welcome to the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki!

Wiiki.png

Thank you for joining the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki!

Before you get started, click here to read the Rules page.

Keep the following in mind as you contribute to the site:

  • Make good edits. Always use the SHOW PREVIEW button to check your changes before you use the SAVE button. If you make a mistake, wait 15 minutes before saving the same page a third or fourth time in a row.
  • Saving lots of edits without PREVIEWING will get the moderators on your case, and can get you banned from the Wiiki.
  • If you plan to update a lot of pages in a short period of time, please clear it with a moderator first.
  • Write articles in third person (using words like he, she and they) instead of first person (I, me and we.) User pages and talk pages are the exceptions to this rule.
  • Use correct grammar, spelling and capitalization.
  • If someone posts on your talk page, please post a reply.
  • Sign all of your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • Don't delete anything from your talk page.
  • Use the Templates on the Main Page when making new articles for content such as Custom Tracks, Texture Hacks, Characters and other releases.
  • We encourage all content makers to create a User Link to put on their release pages and to add it to the Author List.

Thank you! --KantoEpic (talk) 04:46, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello there! I'm glad to see that you are already making mods, but your pages are not up to the wiki standard. I have edited your Boshi on Bandicoot Team Kart and Sonic on Team Trance Kart pages to fit with the standard. Please remove the help content that is added there, put the images in the proper media section, as well as avoid making many updates to a page at once. You can use the "Show preview" button at the bottom to guide you. Please avoid editing a page more than twice in a 15 minute time span. Keep up the good work with your mods! Thanks, Trainiax/SwampyGator (talk) 00:50, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

It seems you haven't payed attention to this message, Ducky. Do not ignore messages on your user talk page. Along with this, do not upload any images or any other form of media that you've added in the past few days to your mod-related pages, as they are false advertising. However, you can upload images of what the character and vehicle pairings look like in-game.
Not only that, but please add your newly released mods to the News. You have been adding them to the List of Custom Characters/Vehicles page, which is one good step, but you shouldn't just do this when you release new mods to the public. Please keep this in mind for the future. --KantoEpic (talk) 04:31, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

Moderator messages

Please, do not ignore new messages on your talk page. You did not change your habits after what I said above. You will be blocked if you continue to make a mess and not pay attention to your messages. I shouldn't be babying you on this anymore. --KantoEpic (talk) 07:40, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Uploading mods without permission

Hello, Ducky. It seems that you reuploaded my Turbo Birdo mod without my permission. While I appreciate that you at least credited me, your page did not link to my own page until KantoEpic did it for you. Your profile also claims that you own each mod you upload, as stated by the phrases "i make unique mods by mixing driver models and kart models" and "Soon, I'll be trying to add allkarts to my mods!", yet none of the mods themselves were created by you. Additionally, you also went against my personal guidelines that were on my profile regarding distribution of my mods, which state the following:

  • If you use my mods in any mod pack, you must credit me by my username: TravixMan. Do NOT claim my mod as your own or reupload them to another website or the wiiki.

--TravixMan (talk) 16:54, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

First, stuff that you write on your user page has no relevance here. That's like going on Twitter, twittering "I do not allow Twitter to use my data" and expecting that do to anything. The Wiiki published works policy ( http://wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/Custom_Mario_Kart:Privacy_policy#Published_Works_Policy ) allows people to freely mod content on the Wiiki if credit is given and a few other conditions are met. Don't agree with that, then don't publish content on the Wiiki.
And the sentence "I make unique mods by doing X" does absolutely not mean that he claims that he created all the mods he uploads. It just means that the mods that he DOES create are unique.
