Thank you for joining the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki!

Before you get started, Click here to read the Rules page.

Keep the following in mind as you contribute to the site:

  • Make good edits. Always use the SHOW PREVIEW button to check your changes before you use the SAVE button. If you make a mistake, wait 15 minutes before saving the same page a third or fourth time in a row.
  • Saving lots of edits without PREVIEWING will get the moderators on your case, and can get you banned from the Wiiki.
  • Write articles in third person (using words like he, she and they) instead of first person (I, me and we.) User pages and talk pages are the exceptions to this rule.
  • Use correct grammar, spelling and capitalization.
  • If someone posts on your talk page, please post a reply.
  • Sign all of your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • Don't delete anything from your talk page.
  • Use the Templates on the Main Page when making new articles for content such as Custom Tracks, Texture Hacks, Characters and other releases.
  • We encourage all content makers to create a User Link to put on their release pages and to add it to the Author List.

Thank you! -- TorranBOT (talk) 15:55, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Wiiki Rules / Moderator Messages

Please use a better signature. It should include a link to your user page and talk page as well as the time and date in UTC, like so: --Torran (talk) 20:55, 22 July 2013 (UTC)

I'm sorry but i'm Italian and i'm not an English genius. User:dswii3ds (User talk:dswii3ds)
You don't need to be a genius to do this. Just type --~~~~ to make an automatic signature. --Torran (talk) 13:48, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
Oh...For talk pages! I forgot it sorry! --~~~~ --dswii3ds (talk) 15.53, 23 July 2013 (Italy)

No need to remind me about editing too much, sorry guys anyways. -Dswii3ds (talk) 14:08, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

Page Naming

You aren't naming your texture hack pages correctly. The name scheme for texture hacked tracks calls for putting a tag after the course name to identify the original course, especially for custom tracks.

For example, if you are making the Beagle Mountain page, the page name must be Beagle Mountain (Beagle Plains Texture).

CTGP Revolution page

The CTGP Revolution article is about the pack itself, the courses that are in the pack. Please do not promote your own texture hack pack on that page, as all you are doing is using the tracks from that pack while those tracks are all individual custom tracks.

Italian Translation

Seems like you didn't read this on the translation page: "PLEASE ask before creating new languages. This avoids mistakes." There's a reason "common" languages like Italian, French, German, etc. aren't on that page. It's because there are already official translations for those languages. Now we have to undo your edits. --Jefe (talk) 14:09, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

Ok. With this message i can complete the collection of the "stupid user". Can i do something good one time? Sorry for this mistake i put a message on the talk page and afterwards i looked on the principal translation page and i understood. --Dswii3ds (talk) 16:46, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Texture Hack Without Download Link

Hello, sorry to bother you but I noticed that you've been recently creating a couple of pages about texture hacks and I want to ask you, what's the point in creating pages of texture hacks if we cannot play them at all ? I mean, it fells like "Yeah I made this, but don't ever think of playing it tough" (I'm not talking about you), However, there is still a point that may get me wrong because this wiki is dedicated to this kind of hack but, is it really necessary to have page of unplayable hacks ? (not making it a general case) So I will wait for a moderator to react to that.--Avenir (talk) 20:22, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

Oh, okay I see now.--Avenir (talk) 12:07, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Warez

Discussion of warez (cracked programs, etc.) and posting links to them is strictly forbidden on this wiki. If it happens again, it will result in a permanent ban. --Jefe (talk) 02:29, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

About my Account

What the hell is going on with you guys? If I want to clean my page, so i did it. It is my account. Not yours. And if you not accept that, so left it. But its not ok. it is my own decision . Not yours. --Snake (talk) 15:54, 17 November 2014 (UTC)

Italian translations

I saw you finishing the Italian translations, and noticed how you capitalized them. I'd like to point out how in MKWii the Italian track names didn't capitalize the adjectives (see Tracks & Arenas). It'd be nice to adhere to the original translations in capitalization as closely as possible.

Pages with no download link

Hello. I've noticed you are adding texture hack pages with no download link. Remember that the content displayed here needs always a download link or else it will get removed. Thanks for reading. —Atlas (talk) 12:27, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

Texture hack pages fixing

As you're editing many texture hack pages, could you fix them correctly at least? This is what you need to do:

  • If a page has no media, add {{nomedia}} in the correct section.
  • If it has no overview, add it.
  • If it has no version history, add it.
  • If the date is not known, add ????-??-?? in every place the date should appear.
  • Don't use {{PAGENAME}} for texture hacks, because it also displays (X Texture).
  • Add the correct time where the texture hack appears in the media if it doesn't only show that texture hack.
  • All versions must appear the same for the information table, media and version history.

Sure, i'll try to make the least page saves possible. -Dswii3ds (talk) 12:00, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
