Updates, in-progress custom tracks and planned tracks
Here is some information about the custom tracks I'm planning, updating or creating right now.
In Progress
- A new track in progress. I want it to be my best track and I put much work into it so far. Check the Development page for the progress.
- Unnamed Castle Track
- Scye and Filizia created the model. It is a floating castle in the heaven with some big rooms and some towers. A name will be set when the track is done. I will work on making it a custom track soon.
On hold
- This is my first ported track from an other game. It will take time until it's finished. It would be great if anyone could help me who knows how to port the brres from the original game without losing vertex colors.
- Track is put on hold, Scye wanted to cancel to work on this with me, but I still might finish it later.
- A dark water course with a cave and hills. Strobenz will be doing the animations and after that I can release it. A test version of this can be downloaded with SpyKid's CT Pack.
- The track is on hold. I made the model less complex, so it finally loads in-game. Probably will be finished 2014.
- This CT is on hold at the moment. I want to finish this, but I'm having problems getting an underwater effect into the track. Will be finished in 2014.
- A remake of 3DS Daisy Hills from MK7, there are 2 preview videos with an outdated model at the moment. Ermelber and I are planning to remake the whole model.
Updates
- This track will be updated someday, it needs a better KCL and some KMP fixes. I will add a baseball-section and re-design most of the track.
- This track will be updated again with more objects and I will add the popular shortcut at the beginning back.
- Update, to fix some glitches and add more objects.
- I will get Ermelber's help for this update. There will be animations (finally) and a re-designed town in the background.
- There will be more objects and the transparent textures will be fixed.
- The model will be updated with a bridge-section and more objects. I will also add more obstacles.
- The track will get kcl fixes and better textures.
Planned
- I started making the model of this track in Blender. I'll continue working on it, when some of my other on-hold-custom tracks are finished.
- A track designed for a 2x Speed Mod. The model is finished, I will start making it a track when more of my projects are finished.
Ideas
These are tracks, that I had ideas of, but not sure If I will actually do these as real custom tracks.
- A raceway track
- A track based on N64 Raceways. I have a model of it finished, but I'm not sure if I'll use it.
- Cave of the Bats
- A track with a cave section and a hill section. Mountains can be seen in the background. In the cave there are many bats from Wario's Gold Mine.
- A pirate ship track
- Idea by MarLuc2304 "The track will start on a beach and then it goes underwater into the ocean until the players will enter an broken ship. Then the players drive up the ship and will be shoot to a mountain by a cannon (similar to GCN DK Mountain). After the mountain, the players will arrive on the beach again." Maybe I will make it a real custom track in the future!
