I'm glad to see I'm not the only MKW mexican hacker, nor the first one!

As far as I'm aware, this stuff of MKW hacking started in 2009, when I was a guy who played Mario Kart Wii and Smash Bros. Brawl almost everyday. I always dreamed on making my own racing courses for a racing game. Now there is TrackMania, but there's nothing compared to hacking Mario games to make them custom.

In the early days of 2010, I was on YouTube watching videos about MK shortcuts, all of them fake of course, and then.. it appeared... Space Road, Custom track for Mario Kart Wii. I just couldn't believe it, my dream so far could have been possible!

I just watched the video and got amazed (even when this track was not really grandiose, sorry to kHacker), after that I started searching about more for this and found out: Mario Kart Wii - Play custom tracks using ONLY an SD card - NO HOMEBREW CHANNEL REQUIRED!. I was dying because I had an SD card on my hands when I saw the vid, and downloaded the stuff. I can remember those times were the ones where Northpole Slide and ASDF Course were the biggest hits ever, though I hated them (sorry to the creators). I also remember Mushroom Peaks as my favourite custom track so far, because of its awesomeness and difficulty, I used to play with my dad and brother, some times with my mother too. It was really funny.

So after getting amazed because of the term Custom Track, I decided to download the required software to start making my own tracks (when this happened, the 2nd generation of CTs was in the middle of development), but I failed. I tried lots and lots of times but never could make a CT made with Paint work.

Here is when I met igorseabra4, one of the best CT creators ever. I used to ask him all my doubts about CTs, but none of his answers helped me. Because of that I better decided to make texture hacks, with no ISO on my hands, I had to re-texture my favourite CTs, like Chomp Valley and Mushroom Peaks. It was way entertaining to see what could I do with the textures of almost every CT on the CTGP (version 2.x if I remember well).

Custom Tracks made with SketchUp were born, but I wasn't aware of that, I only could see awesome changes between old CTs (GBA Sky Garden) and the newest ones (N64 Yoshi Valley).

Time went by and I updated my Wii to version 4.3, the worst thing I have ever done so far. I asked MrBean35000vr for a solution but I was ignored (I mean, I was a n00b, who would care about me?), then a guy called MrStewart950 told me about something called Smash Stack, the solution for 4.3 problems. I was very happy and fixed up my Wii so I could run CTs once again, with a big update (2.8).

In February of this year ( 2011 ) I joined the Mario Kart Wii forums under the name HelloImYourMind, not babasMannGR anymore. With motivations, and after seeing there was a place where hackers shared their doubts and discoveries, I finally decided to ask all I wanted to know there. I was still unknown, but most of my biggest doubts were solved. So I started making my first Custom Track: Mushroom Maze. Never finished, but was a big step for me. A few days later Chadderz released his CTools with BRRES Editor, so I could expand my track to unthinkable limits. Bad news, my crappy PC didn't support that software, and I had to wait.

After I failed with Mushroom Maze I thought to make a CT based on a song I made: Punch Island, my new motivation. NOT finished yet, but was a bigger step for me, it was the first time the lap counted on a custom track I made (lol). But then a new idea came to my mind, Punch City; the first successful track I made ever. My biggest achievement until now, with lots of rave reviews and good commentaries about the track itself and the track's theme.

I think I was getting a bit more known than I was before, when I was a guy who downloaded tracks, not make them.

My recent project was Stronghold Castle, not so successful as Punch City, but very favourable too. My name will linger many more time, so I can extend this text until Mario Kart Wii dies for we all. Got no more to say but thanks :)
