Overview
Trainbow Road is a custom track created by Thed0ra7z. It is inspired by Mario Kart 8's version of N64 Rainbow Road. It features a fully functioning train (skyship) with its own routes set up properly, water underneath the track and a transparent rainbow road. There are many drops and jumps throughout the track.
MysterE99's Version
On November 26, 2017, MysterE99 released a remake of this track. The remake now takes place above a city similar to GCN Rainbow Road and the Mario Kart 8 version of N64 Rainbow Road. The road is now tiled rather than striped, and the walls are redesigned to be star railings. Background decoration, such as neon-lit signs (castletree1, mariotreeGC, donkytree1GC, donkytree2GC, peachtreeGC, gardentreeDS, DKtreeA64, DKtreeB64, and TownTreeDS) and a spinning star (M_obj_start), were also added. It is recommended that the track is 1-2 laps in distributions, as it is not possible to finish in under five minutes otherwise.
Credits
- TomixNscale89, for the train model (car_body) from N64 Kalimari Desert in v1.0.
- Torran, for the neon signs from his version of N64 Rainbow Road in v1.0.
