Vertex Colors

When you are using vertex colors in 3ds max, how do you export them? I have done this with GCN models with the vertex colors already painted on, but if you paint them on yourself, how do you export them? Pointy Pighead Games (talk) 15:45, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

You essentially just need to export your model with the vertex colours as a DAE and import to the latest version of BrawlBox with normal settings, except under colour nodes you need to set "Default Colour" to R:128 G:128 B:128 A:254. That is all I do when I import a model with vertex colours. --FunkyDude15 (talk) 19:00, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
It is automatically exported when you export it, but you need to export it as a file format that supports vertex colors. OBJ doesn't support it. Then import it to BrawlBox, nearly all versions should work but newer versions are recommend because it creates smaller files => less face points.
