Naming

hi nice track but looks more like a custom track, maybe is better you change the name for a custom namr, can i call it toxic valley for my mod? --Unsigned comment by Warwick92xD (talk).

Hi, I have no intention of changing the name of this track as this is just the style that I am doing my retros in. I'd prefer if you didn't change the name of the track, but if you really want to change the name I won't stop you. - Slimeserver --Unsigned comment by Slimeserver (talk).

Mipmaps

History of v1.1 tells: "Removed mipmaps". What is the benefit of removing mipmaps? -- Wiimm (talk) 04:20, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

I assume this was done to optimize the track's file size or its in-game performance; I might be wrong. But, this might not be a good move because textures will look worse from a distance. --KantoEpic (talk) 16:28, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
yes the file size will be lower, but tracks under 1MB can still cause lag in-game, so that's irrelevant. taking away mipmaps means you load higher-res textures at all distances, so i dont see how this can reduce lag in any way --lol zilly 18:49, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
I removed mipmaps to get rid of lines that would appear on far away textures. Nothing to do with lag. Im not yet sure how to get mipmaps working properly, so this is just a temporary fix. ---Unsigned comment by Slimeserver (talk).
