About developing notes

I think, developing notes should not part of the main article. Otherwise such info must not be stored outside the wiki. In the past we used special development pages. Compare GCN Bowser's Castle (Baoulettes)/Development. So Cannon City III/Development is here the correct page. -- Wiimm (talk) 13:24, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

GCN Bowser's Castle (Baoulettes)/Development is also a good example, why external sources are bad: 2 videos and at least 9 screen shots are not longer available. -- Wiimm (talk) 13:30, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
I asked Atlas about me posting the development of the track to a paste bin or something just so I could keep track of the tracks evolution and how long its been around for since it was first created. Atlas said I could so I created a paste bin with the info and DEV work on the track. Seen here I was not aware that I could create development pages on the wiki so did the easier method of just using paste bin. If its an issue with using external sources to keep track of development, I will transfer it to a DEV page or create one.

For clearness: I won't blame you or any other. I will only show alternatives so that this wiki can hold all infos. And in the early years, this DEV page was used several times. -- Wiimm (talk) 20:08, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
Thanks Wiimm, when I have a bit more time (or can be bothered :p) i'll see if I can transfer the paste bin DEV work onto a separate page like Baoulettes did with her GCN Bowser's Castle (Baoulettes), unless its fine to keep the paste bin link ;)

Download Takedown

The download takedown was completely unnecessary because now the file is forever on the wiki and people will still be able to download it. I still have the file, so I can re-upload it, but at this point, I’m not even going to take any chances because I feel like IEF◇Spyro took things too far. He swore in his summary of his edit, which is not allowed on the wiki. Not only that, but ZPL Gaming is one of the creators of the track, so I feel like it’s perfectly okay for one of the creators to upload the track. All of this drama was absolutely pointless in my opinion. Toxic Prime (talk) 15:33, 20 August 2019 (UTC)

You can't re-upload it even if you wanted to. The page is under protection from preventing people from doing so as I don't want that file there as it was uploaded without my knowledge and consent. I gave the file to KHacker35000vr to finish the KMP as there was many Position Jump Bugs in which I told ZPL Gaming to leave as he didn't want to make the checkpoints in the first place and said to get someone else to do them. Sneakily uploading the file to the Wiki without telling me is one thing, and it won't slide by since I have to consent to the track being uploaded as well. The track was never finished and I told that to ZPL Gaming even before he released it without me knowing, yet he still decides its fine to upload it. And this brings me onto another thing; Huili. Just because someone is a dumb fuck and can't be asked to wait a while for a Custom Track to be finished doesn't mean you can go pressuring them to get it out faster with extreme amounts of issues and literally giving 0 fucks and respect to the other author. If you can't wait to get a Custom Track into your pack or want it out in general then you shouldn't go pressuring them to the extreme where it leads to them literally releasing it without THE MAIN AUTHOR'S KNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT.
Since I am the head creator of Cannon City III, I should be the ones who decides whether the file should get uploaded or not. And I despise the fact that ZPL Gaming then decided to upload it behind my back especially after I told him to not previously after the beta test, (before he tweaked the checkpoints and uploaded the file) as he asked someone else to make the checkpoints and respawn points anyways. And its super inconsiderate for him to upload it when I then gave the file to KHacker35000vr to finish and then says he wants to do them midway through KHacker35000vr doing them. As far as I'm concerned, this would have never happened if ZPL Gaming wasn't such a scumbag and listened to me in the first place when I told him NOT to upload it.
