The version history is overly long. I suggest creating a development page instead.

Agree! Then main track page shall only describe changes from one to he next public release. I think, other articles must also be cleaned. But feel free to create a development sub page.

Hard texture glitches

Hi Atlas, congrats to that awesome port and especially the goats. They are so lovely. But i think they cause a major texture glitch. Did you test that track on a real Wii once? Everytime i pass the cows i get giant yellow/white triangles over half of the screen, then i get them when i get to the cannon and then during the whole race through the town. I had the same problem with texture hacking goombas once and the problem got solved by using another imageformat when encoding with BrawlBox. Oh that might take sometime, as I have absolutely no possibility to take screenshots from my wii. I will have to ask someone else. But in the meantime try encoding your texture image as RGB565 with BrawlBox. Your goats have CMPR now. And try using the exact same material settings as Nintendo used on their cows. That was what fixed my goombas when i had the same problem. You can send me an updated version to me if you want. I tried adding you on Skype yesterday.

Here is probably the problem (the second one). It is probably a BRRES that is corrupt that causing it. You should also always run the track with Wiimms SZS Tools to see if your track has a bug.

Freeze

Yesterday we discovered another issue: The track gave SOME people a blackscreen freeze when loading. Turned out that they had to delete sound_Mii (it has a missing route link, use "wszst check") to get the track to load.

Is looks like a missing route. Dolphin and CTGP usually manage a potential freeze. So it happens only at a real Wii without using CTGP.

Fixed issues

Hello, thanks for telling. I found out where all these problems were. For the freeze glitch (caused by a non-existing route), well, at the first hours I uploaded the wrong link in YouTube with the v1.4 version which had no sound_Mii routes, updated in the newest one (v1.5).

For the yellow triangles, I think it's an unused Mii audience I set scale 0 in its 3 axis. I fix it from now and update to v1.6. Thanks again! —Atlas (talk) 21:12, 15 February 2016 (UTC)

Cameras

Mipmaps

Hi Atlas, I did a minor update on your course for Wiimms MKW Fun. I activated mipmaps in your course_model.brres and reencoded all of your textures with wimgt to have mipmaps. The track looks a lot better on real Wiis with that, as you dont have that hard textureflickering in the distance anymore especially on the wooden boardwalk. Though i don't know if it will look better on your HD Dolphin. I'm not sure what to do now? Is it ok for you if I upload it here or should i just give it to you? Anyway you can download it here: https://www.sendspace.com/file/plh4jt I also lowered the walls a bit to remove Bean-corners using Wiimms auto lower-walls script.

As I said. All I did is setting MinFilter to Linear_Mipmap_Linear in your Materials using BrawlBox and then reencoded your textures to have mipmaps and lowered the walls.

v1.7e-hotfix

Reading the change log, "hotfix" is not a correct name: It neither fixes any bug nor it is hot (previous release ids 22 month old) ⇒ @SpyKid: Talk with Atlas to find a better version. It is either 1.7e.alt or 1.7f or 1.8.

Another point: And I don't see any reason to remove the slippery road. The author (Atlas) planned and realized it, it is no bug, not unfair and not a problematic at all.
