Overview
This port by Riidefi and Hlorenzi has components from the original version, the Mario Kart 8 version, and new ones. The course model was first directly ported losslessly from the original BMD to BRRES, and then Mario Kart 8 textures were used to enhance visuals. The Mario Kart 8 sand normal map has been converted to a Wii indirect texture. The mapping data is original and created with Lorenzi's KMP Editor. Collision has been ported from the original with modification to better fit Mario Kart Wii. This track features a heavy blooper effect. A custom ItemSlot table has been implemented to balance the vast amount of light offroad and custom blooper for fairer gameplay.

Credits
* Atlas for providing the tool to edit item probabilities
* Torran for his blooper particle transformation matrix
* Cotni for the custom signs featuring the latest tea brand, a new distribution, and a promotional Weather Channel ad
Lorenzi's KMP Editor is a very young KMP editor started in 2018. It's based on Node.js and Electron, and is available as free GitHub project.

It will automatically load a course.kcl file from the same folder and will display it as 3D world with easy navigation. It can also load course_model.brres files or any other custom .obj models!

Creating points, paths, and forks is as easy as dragging points with the mouse ― no need to set up indices, or prev/next links ―, and with automated height correction, makes editing courses a breeze!
