Overview
This port is based on how the course appears in Mario Kart DS. The layout consists of mainly driving around the shore of a small island. One section has a pool with deep water traps. Some Cheep Cheeps are also flailing around on the shore and cause the driver to spin out of control if collided with. All of the course is slippery to drive on, adding to the difficulty.
A 3D version was planned, but the end result was too bumpy and steep, due to the author not planning it well. Another try at a 3D version is planned for the future. To compensate for a flat course, the water and shore textures are animated.
