Overview

Rosalina's Abandoned Castle is a texture hack of Bowser's Castle created by ThePrimalYoshi. It is based on the idea that Rosalina once had her own castle, but something went terribly wrong.

Quote from the release video

Apparently long ago, some time before Super Mario Galaxy took place, Rosalina had her own kingdom (Star Kingdom, Luma Kingdom, whatever you want to call it :P). But when an asteroid struck the planet, she was forced to abandon it before the shockwave of the asteroid reached her kingdom. Years later, Bowser came to the ruined castle and saw opportunity here, and began his own renovations (His head at the beginning of the bridge is one :D). But noticing how old and crumbled the castle was, and after some parts of the roof collapsed, he too, was forced to leave, leaving the castle alone forever... until they all come back in go-karts and throw bananas at each other xD
