Overview
Nick's Big Bad Castle is a texture hack of N64 Bowser's Castle created by Cederic. The idea came from a YouTube video by NMeade (which can be found here), where he said that N64 Bowser's Castle "is his big bad castle". This lead to the author creating a texture hack that is themed around NMeade. The Thwomps are fish, as TWD98, one of NMeade's friends, calls him a "floundering fish". The Bowser picture at the stair section has NMeade's Mii on it and the red carpet is his YouTube logo. The finish line says "Nick's Big Bad Castle" instead of "Mario Kart".
