New Tracks

Overview

Newly released tracks since the last update of the MKW Hack Pack. No major glitches are known. All tracks will be verified manually as the pack is assembled, and the status field will indicate progress. The decision to accept or reject a track will be determined by Huili. Should a track be updated since the time of verification, please change the status field back to either "Unreviewed" or "Updated", and the track will be redownloaded and re-demonstrated (including any previously rejected tracks). Any notes that track authors need to be aware of will be inserted in the "Issues/Track Review" field, and please feel free to delete erroneous information.

Autumn Treeway Needs Fixes Maple Treeway Maple Treeway Initially accepted, but now is rejected because there's more texture glitches in this remake than in it's previous version. So promising though, as it has the bouncing trees removed.

Candyland Rejected Textures seem underwhelming, and track feels cramped and not very engaging in my opinion. Also, better options for similar tracks.
Cannon Course Rejected A bug fix update was released in the YKW discord. Even with the fixes, it stills feels quite bland.
Carrera Circuit Rejected This track has texture glitches and doesn't look very polished in light of the DS version.
Castle of Spades Rejected It feels like a knockoff of Castle of Darkness. Not very engaging to me, even with the update.
Castle of Time Rejected This track will stay rejected unless it ever gets removed from CTGP. Trying to represent the underdog.
Cheese Road 1 Rejected Luigi Circuit Luigi Circuit It looks rather bland, not much going on, too simple for my liking.

Chill Hill Rejected It looks promising, but the track length and lack of objects aren't doing much for this track.
Christmas Raceway Rejected Although it has some different objects that I'm not used to seeing, at the same time it looks bland.
Colorful Paint Rejected Feels like a seizure waiting to happen honestly. Not going to take chances with this track unfortunately.
Containers Raceway Rejected Daisy Circuit GCN Peach Beach Sharp turns, there's a ledge that you can get stuck on, the layout is wonky.
Cossland Rejected Maple Treeway Maple Treeway Initially accepted, but has a no lap count bug and some awkwardly tight turns as well
Cottonplant Forest Rejected Because it's in CTGP I won't be accepting it, want to represent other tracks.
Crazy Chasm Rejected N64 Bowser's Castle N64 Bowser's Castle Initially accepted, but Huili prefers Bowser's Stronghold over this and wants to avoid putting similarly styled tracks in MKW Hack Pack
Crystal Dungeon Rejected This track will stay rejected unless it ever gets removed from CTGP. Trying to represent the underdog.
Crystal Valley Rejected Reminds me of Skylane. Although it has a great atmosphere around it, the track isn't much to look at.
Dawn Township Rejected Rainbow Road Rainbow Road 1 This track will probably get into CTGP so I want to represent other track creators.
Death Chamber 2 Rejected Narrow, upscale probably wouldn't do it justice either, feels rather bland too.
Delfino Island Rejected DS Delfino Square Delfino Pier There’s a sunset version that isn’t in CTGP. Don't care if there's another version of the track, I hate the boardwalk section and years of practicing it hasn't helped in that regard.
Delfino Pier (Race) Rejected DS Delfino Square Delfino Pier 4 Rejecting this because it's a battle track, plain and simple.
Desert City Rejected Despite it being the authors first track, feels rather underwhelming, might accept if improved on.
Deserted Mountain Rejected It has potential, but the track is visually lackluster, and unintuitive in a few spots, with questionable kcl variants.
Dim Dungeon Rejected Even tho it's dark on purpose, I dislike it overall because of that. I'm rather picky about how dark a track can be to be accepted, and this crosses the line.
DK Falls Needs Fixes Could use some work on becoming tuitive. Some blind turns, and sketchy texturing. Really seems promising though.
Dongo Cave Rejected Wario's Gold Mine Wario's Gold Mine As much as I like the Death Mountain theme of the track from the Legend of Zelda, this track is rather bland, could use some more decoration to make it worthwhile.
Dry Island Needs Fixes Unintended shortcut needs a fall boundary, respawns need to be added, and respawn height adjusted.
DS Bowser Castle (Wexos) Rejected Not interested in retros if they already have an alternate version in ctgp.
DS Dokan Course (Wingcapman) Rejected DS Yoshi Falls DS Yoshi Falls 1 An update to this track is available, making this track not viable for MKW Hack Pack
DS Twilight House (Race) Rejected Mario Circuit DS Twilight House 8 Rejecting this because it's a battle track, plain and simple.
DS DK Pass (Skipper93653) Rejected DK Snowboard Cross DK Snowboard Cross Not interested in retros if they already have an alternate version in ctgp.

Electric Shredder Needs Fixes I don't like this track has position bugs and predetermined item selections in it.
Ermelber Circuit 1 Rejected Standard circuit style track, nothing special.
Evening Creek Rejected It looks really bland to play on, and has the potential for unwanted shortcuts.
F-Zero Mute City 1 Rejected Luigi Circuit DK Summit Not really a fan of the f-zero tracks, this one in particular feels even more narrower than the others.
F-Zero White Land I (Toxic Prime) Rejected DK Summit N64 Skyscraper Texturing is too dark in some areas and unfitting. The whole atmosphere really feels dark too, not really what I had envisioned.
Faraway Land Rejected Delfino Pier Holding out for the update, whenever that comes out.
Forbidden Factory Rejected Although sight unseen, I'm rejecting this track due to what BillyNoodles told me about the track. It's an old track that just got released and not good.
Forest Creek Rejected N64 DK's Jungle Parkway Moo Moo Meadows Although visually pleasing, it seems really bland, and I have already rejected tracks similar to this.
Forest Plains Rejected Potential for broken shortcuts is possible, because too much offroad. Some paths can be unintuitive.
Frosty Mountains Rejected DK Summit DK Summit Not really liking the turns, the questionable fall boundaries when you touch so much as the offroad on it.
Fuego Castle Rejected Mismatched textures. I feel like there's better options than this one, so I want to keep hack pack diversified. Feels a lot like Bowser's Infernal Fortress.
Galactic Tube Needs Fixes GCN Mario Circuit DS Twilight House Needs respawn points and check points fixed. I was able to have the lap counted by being on the topmost route.

GCN Dekoboko Rejected N64 Sherbet Land N64 Sherbet Land Probably wouldn't be interested in this since it is an predecessor of GCN Sherbet Land. That, and I'm not really a retro guy anyways.

Ghost Valley 4 Rejected SNES Ghost Valley 2 SNES Ghost Valley 2 Textures are too bright for this track, design is very generic, and I don't like holes in the floor
Ghost Valley 5 Rejected SNES Ghost Valley 2 SNES Ghost Valley 2 Generic track design, bright textures. Promising shortcut tho, but that's about it.

Giant Highway Rejected SNES Ghost Valley 2 Moonview Highway 2 Ridiculously long cannon, and seizure inducing textures.
GP Yoshi Park 1 Rejected DS Yoshi Falls DS Yoshi Falls Doesn't work properly right now, watched a video on it and you respawn endlessly.
Grass Blast Rejected I saw a video of it before it went down, it was a rather plain track, nothing redeeming about it.
Grassy Plains (Rosalina Speedruns) Rejected Mario Circuit Moo Moo Meadows 5 1.2× Even with this nice remake, it's bland.
Grassy Plains Rejected Track needs decorations, cannons are unnecessary due to the track being too short.
Haunted Hill Rejected SNES Ghost Valley 2 DS Twilight House 1 Seems promising but it feels empty for most of the track.
Haunted Woods Rejected This track will stay rejected unless it ever gets removed from CTGP. Trying to represent the underdog.
Ice Creek Rejected N64 Sherbet Land N64 Sherbet Land Although initially accepted, it is now rejected because of being too bland, needs more objects and that first downhill slope needs some realignment.
Icestone Shaft Rejected DK Summit DK Summit Initially accepted, but after seeing texture glitches on the track, along with a no lap count shortcut and other things, it was rejected
Icy Mountains Rejected DK Snowboard Cross DK Snowboard Cross Even tho updates were made, this track could use a visual overhaul. Going down to the cave section can be random at times.
Jiyuu's Test Track Rejected Better choices for similar tracks, plus with is a test track, probably not the best idea to add this in.
Jungle Park Needs Fixes N64 DK's Jungle Parkway Rainbow Road One of my gripes with the track are that the rocks are sometimes in the way of this one shortcut
Kamek's Castle Rejected The layout doesn't make it look polished.
Kamek's Crazy Castle Rejected N64 Bowser's Castle GBA Bowser Castle 3 Feel like there's better candidates out there than this one sadly.
Koopa Paratroopa Castle Rejected It's really bland, could use a lot more work.
Koretato Circuit Rejected Mario Circuit Mario Circuit 1 The whole theme of the track is silly, road texture is bland and mismatched, potential for overpowering shortcuts.
Lakeside Lagoon‎ Rejected It feels really bland to me, could use some decoration, enemies, and other various objects.
Lakeside Skyway Rejected This track reminds me of Skylane in a way, which was removed from the last version of Hack Pack. Although the ramps are neat, it's not redeeming enough.
Lateral Shift Rejected I prefer Bulzeeb's edit of Star Circuit over this
Lava Road Rejected This track will stay rejected unless it ever gets removed from CTGP. Trying to represent the underdog.
Lecce's Classic Road Rejected SNES Mario Circuit 3 SNES Mario Circuit 3 Initially accepted, but because of questionable out of bounds and rather dull layout, it got rejected
Lecce's Desert Rejected DS Yoshi Falls DS Desert Hills Initially accepted, but it's quite dull and bland, plus there's other desert tracks that show more promise in the pack than this one
Lecce's Factory Rejected It feels more like a ripoff of Toad's Factory than a custom track.

Lonely Desert Rejected DS Desert Hills Thwomp Desert Got other candidates that I'm interested in, this one feels too similar to Desert Fort which is being removed from the next version of MKW Hack Pack
Lonely Island Rejected Feels narrow in some areas, Anthro Valley has a similar but in my opinion nicer vibe to it. Also unclear offroad near the end, you don't know it's there until you step on it.
Lost Lake Needs Fixe N64 Bowser's Castle Bowser's Castle The grass is it of bounds. Some unclear paths, wonky layout.
Luncheon Tour Rejected Mushroom Gorge GCN DK Mountain Initially accepted, but this track is now in CTGP, going to look for other tracks to represent.
Luxville Rejected Mario Circuit DS Peach Gardens Rejecting similarly styled tracks. This track has some boring straights and nothing interesting to offer.
Magma Chamber Rejected Boost panels need changed, too bright. Nothing really stands out for me, I feel like there's better options
Mario Circuit 5 Rejected SNES Mario Circuit 3 SNES Mario Circuit 3 This track is bland and boring, I've rejected similar tracks in the past to this.
Mecha Donut Arena Rejected It's round and boring, even with the objects.
Midnight Starway Needs Fixes Bowser's Castle 2 The last turn is really bad, I couldn't even see it until I found myself in the out of bounds grass. Also last boost panel is sketchy, I get caught in the offroad.
Motocross Circuit Rejected Already accepted Waluigi's Motocross so adding another similarly styled track wouldn't be necessary.
Mountain Adventure Rejected DK Snowboard Cross N64 Sherbet Land 1 It's a lot like Mountain Town but bigger, it has stretched textures, which is minor but still a concern, KCL could be a problem. I would like to add a speed mod but that will probably add to the problems.
Mushroom Byway Rejected Although this track looks nice and clean, it looks boring, and long.
Mushroom Meadows Rejected Shortcut is very OP, feels like a very Magikruiser reliant track. Very lacking in objects, it's scaled a little too big for my liking despite the Magikruiser statement. Needs objects.
N64 Frappe Snowland (Zilla) Rejected N64 Sherbet Land DK Snowboard Cross Not interested in retros if they already have an alternate version in ctgp.

New Moon Manor Rejected N64 Bowser's Castle N64 Bowser's Castle Initially accepted, but because it got into CTGP, it's rejected. Want to represent other tracks.
Nexuz Road Rejected It looks really bland in it's current state, and it looks like unintended shortcuts maybe on the track.
Nintendo Raceway Rejected Has some awkwardly sharp turns and very generic.
Northpole Slide Rejected Not a fan of either the old or new, both have their share of problems. Current one is narrow and is easy to fall off of, and the old one is bland.
Oceanic Raceway Rejected Feels a bit bland at this current state. There seem to be better options, Sandy Strait, amongst other tracks.
Orange Loop (Retrostyle12) Rejected GBA Bowser Castle 3 Block Plaza If this was made in the style of Red Loop maybe, but not in the style of the old loops.

Penguin Canyon Rejected N64 Sherbet Land GCN DK Mountain Although intially accepted, it's now rejected because of there being too many ice tracks and this remake doesn't make this track age well, it's rather bland and dull.
Petite Town Rejected Daisy Circuit Daisy Circuit Similar to Shining Town, which is also rejected from v6 MKW Hack Pack. Too simple and bland, and I already got enough similarly styled tracks going in
Purple Loop Rejected GCN Mario Circuit Block Plaza 1 Initially accepted, but ultimately rejected, it's quite narrow, and the ending is harsh.
Rainbow Jungle (MrDark35000vr) Rejected Rainbow Road N64 DK's Jungle Parkway Currently being updated by the author. Freeze bug.
Rainbow Ray Road Rejected Feels like a ripoff of 3DS Rainbow Road, and feels narrow in some parts, especially with that fast chain chomp throwing you off.
Rainbow Rollercoaster Rejected Rainbow Road GBA Battle Course 3 Too many rainbow themed tracks in this version, and this one has it's share of problems with collision
Rainbow Speedway Rejected It gives off vibes of Daydream. Not really a fan of it's design overall, can get a little confusing at some spots, and almost tight turns.
Riru's Course Rejected Too bland, has a confusing maze, and an awkwardly sharp turn.
River Plains Rejected Could use some visual updates, animations, objects, ramp edits.
Riverside Circuit Rejected The theme of the track is unclear, which is minor, and I prefer Water Village over this, along with Compact Highway because this track reminds me of that, since it was made by the same designer.
Rocky Hills Rejected Feels quite narrow, and based on these ports of Skipper's, it doesn't really offer anything different.
Rosalina's Purple Fortress Rejected There is this one turn that makes it mach bike only, and a ramp that sends you way up, which results in you falling off the track if you try to take a turn on it.
Rubik Circuit Rejected Quite bland, and standard at that.
Seasonal Circuit Rejected This track will stay rejected unless it ever gets removed from CTGP. Trying to represent the underdog.
Shifting Sand Land Rejected Dry Dry Ruins Dry Dry Ruins Initially accepted, but the more this track was tested and improved on, the more problems we found. KCL bugs, endless respawn, not enough invisible walls, lack of tuitiveness inside the pyramid.
Sky Courtyard Rejected N64 Bowser Castle N64 Bowser Castle Still needs some KCL fixes and invisible walls. Hidden cannon could probably stay though.
Sky High Bash Rejected Rainbow Road Block Plaza 7 I prefer Galactic Tube over this track. This track looks bland by comparison and I'm trying to stay away from accepting tracks with similar layouts

Unexcitebike Arena Rejected Although it does look like it was incomplete on purpose, doesn't look real good. Textures are quite bright and mismatched and doesn't have as much going for it as NinYoda1's version, would accept his over this.
