Recorders Wanted

If anyone is reading this and can record the MKW Character Pack, even if it's with a camera, Huili wants to give you a list of characters he wants you to record, instead of you figuring out what to record. Please send any inquiries to either the discussion page on top of this page or Huili's skype - pjtheevangelizer, and he will make the list for you. Please report any issues you may have to Huili and he will see what he can do for you in the meantime.

Overview

This is Huili's first character Distribution which will also be used in the MKW Hack Pack. A few things to keep in mind are the following:

• Full sets of character hacks come first for all the characters in the Riivolution XML, followed by the single characters. Both come alphabetically according to character.
• Huili suggests that you DO NOT enable all or a lot of characters. Why? Because if all 12 are selected, for example, your Wii might very well freeze. How can that be? Talking from experience, Huili knows that some of the file sizes of these characters in this character pack are larger than the original files, and that is why it will sometimes not load. So please be mindful of that as you select your characters for use online and on offline VS matches.
• If you're going to be using this character pack for time trials, however, you can enable all of them, because you're only using one character at a time.
• Keep in mind that if you want to enable anything from the Complete Character Sets option, they will each have their own set of vehicles. So if another character is enabled, make sure it IS NOT the same vehicles, otherwise it will freeze. The best thing to do is to have everything else disabled when that is enabled to avoid confusion. Another suggesting is to look at each folder on your sd card so you know what to select.

Issues

v2 Delete

If none of these issues get resolved by the v2 release, some of these will get deleted, depending on the severity of the issue.

• King Dedede's texture breaks on certain tracks.
• Link on Epona, one of the Mario options, causes a black screen, probably because of it's size.
• Black Mage, over Luigi may cause a blackscreen depending on what vehicle you choose. Mach Bike is definitely one of the options. You will hear the starting music though, but that's it. It is unknown why. Other vehicles have not been tested because of this.
• Blue Purple Funky Kong, Huili realzed that although the coding is correct, there was no folder for it, so if enabled, you will get nothing there.
• Clown Car, a Bowser model hack, blackscreens when loaded, probably because of it's size.
• Emerl the Gizoid, over Mario all vehicles, gave out a black screen when on the Standard Kart, but was fine when played on the mach bike. Other vehicles have not been tested because of this.
• Purple Baby Daisy which is supposed to be over Baby Daisy, when loaded, loaded a regular baby daisy, it is actually over Baby Peach.
• Code dump appeared when trying to load Black Mage on Wii Remote, because the patch id's didn't match.
• Green Shy Guy, forgot to make a matching patch ID for it.
• Nitro Funky Kong, on the xml, the patch said Nitro Funky, but the folder on the sd says Nitro funky Kong, had to make a change there because it woudn't load in-game.
• The following riivolution options have nothing inside their folders: Mii Outfit C, Baby Rosalina, and Omega Alpha Funky Kong.
