This is because there are many texture hacks, some might have double names, names of other characters, names of other custom tracks or no name.

This is a list of Custom Characters/Karts. A Custom Character is a Mario Kart Wii character with a model or texture that was not created by Nintendo as part of the original game while a Custom Vehicle can refer to a changed vehicle.
Individual Character/Vehicle Combos
These only affect one Character/Vehicle combination, eg. Luigi on Mach Bike. It wouldn't affect Mario nor would it affect the Standard Bike M.
