Overview
Jungle Jamble is a custom track designed by Yoshi86UP and created by Torran. Its design is inspired by the jungle levels of Super Monkey Ball.
This track exists as a technical demonstration of the following techniques:
- Grass implemented using shell texturing and alpha tested to maintain shadow volume.
- Optimized draw ordering to reduce overdraw produced by grass shell.
- Blended shadow map with correct draw ordering.
- Bump and specular mapping on wooden surfaces.
- Stylized ambient lighting.
- ...and other minor techniques implemented through collision.
