Information

You may request a user name change after being a member of this wiki for at least one year. For a capitalization change, you may request one after being a member for at least a month. Only one request may be made for an individual account per year, and only one capitalization change may be made until you request a user name change. You may not request changes for other users.

The user "The ZAC Atac" seems like he wanted to change his name, but instead of requesting a user name change he moved/edited all the pages with his old name with the new name "TheZACAtac". I don't have the Bureaucrat role and Maczkopeti is inactive, so Wiimm, you should decide wether to revert his edits due to not asking for a user name change or change his name. —Atlas (talk) 12:14, 17 March 2017 (UTC)

Ok, I now understand what to do and I apologize for just changing all my pages instead of requesting a name change. I will change everything back and just wait till July to request a name change because then it will be a year since I signed up. -- TheZACAtac (talk) 19:20, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
It's not only "asking". "The ZAC Atac" and "TheZACAtac" are 2 different accounts. And If I rename it, the login account is also renamed.
Do you want the new name now? (Haven't seen the discussion pages yet)

User:Bri wants a name change to User:Bri-11. Although he/she is fine with the current name, if we had to go with the latter, there would be a bigger problem. Since User:Bri911 is already a user on the Wiiki, this would cause more confusion. I believe that we shouldn't exactly change this name — at least, not yet. --KantoEpic (talk) 03:05, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

User:Leaf39 wanted to have a de-capitalization change (to "leaf39"), not realizing that they can link their page without any capitalization problems. Renaming the user wouldn't do anything. --KantoEpic (talk) 23:55, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

User:MaximilianoMK wanted to be renamed to User:Maxi_. Due to how underscores are treated as spaces on various wikis (such as this one) with page names, and that a user already went by "Maxi" a long time ago, this name change cannot be done. --KantoEpic (talk) 03:54, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

User:Aprotic wanted a decapitalization request. Again, renaming the user does not work because MediaWiki defaults the first letter to be capitalized. However, I did change links to his name to display without the capital letter. --KantoEpic (talk) 14:08, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
