HD's Retro Pack is a custom track distribution made by a few members of High Definition, a Mario Kart community. The pack was originally planned to be private, however was put up here if anyone ever showed interest in trying it out. The pack was created and updated by Rookie and King Decimator. Thanks to ChaosShadow23 and Torran for helping a little bit as well. The purpose of the pack is to provide some of the best and most memorable tracks that Nintendo has created in past (and future) Mario Kart games, and putting them all into 1 game. So if you're one of those people who dislikes a lot of the custom tracks in CTGP-R, or simply someone who wants more of a Mario Kart feel with the original track music as well, maybe you'd be interested in trying the pack out. The pack runs independently through Riivolution. XMLs are included in the download. You must extract the ZIP from the download to the root of your SD card to use. In the recent update we focused mainly on getting well built CTs, and no retros from the most up to date game in the series (MK8) with some exceptions for new CTs or pack essentials (modified Shy Guy Ship on Royal Raceway). GCN Rainbow Road, GCN Wario Colosseum, & N64 Wario Stadium are all 2 laps as well. Enjoy the pack!
