Overview
Formula Kart Wii is a custom game mode created by dswii3ds and Ismy. It consists of racing for 50 laps around the same track with random items and other miscellaneous changes. The mod is inspired by Formula One, a car racing championship.

| Change Character Between Wi-Fi Races | MrBean35000vr | When in online play, the player's character, vehicle, and drift mode choice may be changed between races by pressing + on the Wii Remote (or Start on the GCN Controller) when on the VR screen. This simply takes the player back to the character select menu and then returns them to the vote when they have reselected. If the time limit expires, the currently selected options are taken. |

Known Bugs
- Mega Thunderclouds make you lose your item when they strike.
- Disconnected players will remain on the minimap until lap 50. This happens due to a patch that fixes a severe positioning bug, and will eventually be fixed.
- Switching between TT and VS mode (and viceversa) will require a restart of the race in the new mode in order for the modded lap count to be applied.
- Hovering/selecting the Battle Mode button will not let you go back to the main menu until you change button.
Wishlist
- Randomize leaf piles and wood boxes item chances.
- Shorten room GPs to 2 races.
