Overview

Desert Mushroom Ruins is a custom track originally made by 4TLPati. Unfortunately RC3 features a glitchy fireball, poor KCL and the Underground Camera Bug when racing in multiplayer mode. These glitches have been fixed as of RC3.1 and on, in addition to the use of the Item Road KCL flag to allow Red Shells to traverse mushrooms and float above lava.

kHacker35000vr, for fixing the Ultra Shortcut and adding extra check points in RC3.

MysterE99's Version

On July 11th, 2016, MysterE99 released a remake of this track, which now bears a resemblance to GCN Dry Dry Desert from Mario Kart 8, as it features updated visuals and contains an oasis near the end of the track.

v1.1	2016-08-16	Added lava pillars. Changed the green mushroom's collision to sticky road. Fixed Bullet Bill routes. Fixed respawn point bug at the finish line. Made the ruins shortcut available only on lap 1 by using the VolcanoPiece object. Removed one Wiggler and slowed down the other.
v1.2	2018-03-03	Made the ruins shortcut available on lap 2. The green mushroom now uses its model from Mario Kart 7. Altered the Wiggler route. Added two extra Pokeys near the end of the course.
