Overview

DK Jungle Tour is a custom track designed by DemyxIX and created by HelloImYourMind. The original design can be seen here. This track was an opportunity for the author to improve his modeling skills, as well as camera editing. It takes place in a jungle that features a cave, a suspension bridge and drivable water. There are also special item boxes that will only give away Stars or Mega Mushrooms. Most of the textures are taken from N64 DK's Jungle Parkway to give the track a similar theme.

v1.2	2011-08-25	Update by Wiimm: Improved item and enemy routes. CPUs now take shortcuts. 25% of CPUs go for the Mega Mushroom item box in the river.
v1.3	2013-12-07	Update by Wiimm: Added more item boxes for 2 item box rows. Fixed minimap. New check points following the quadrilateral model to fix all Position Jump Bugs. New respawn points. Optimized start position. Raised track by 100 units. Two item boxes now give a single Mushroom instead of a Star or a Mega Mushroom.

-This is not a Version 2 of DKJT, it's to be considered a different track now, since the model was 90% remade. Adds texture mapping and perhaps more difficulty to the race. The current version (as of 2012-05-03 version, by [[Wiimm]]) is still in a very early phase, it lacks important stuff, and is still a bit blank. [[HelloImYourMind]] has already considered remaking the model again, even though it will still be called "DKJTII".
