Overview
Carrington Cove is a custom track created by Toxic Prime and JDS. It was created for the tenth edition of BillyNoodles's Custom Track Jam, where it placed fourth. The track is inspired by the largest geomagnetic storm ever recorded, later documented as the “Carrington Event”. The solar storm produced strong auroral displays from the poles to low-latitude tropical regions such as Queensland and Hawaii. Though the solar storm merely caused havoc to telegraph systems in 1859, a solar storm of similar magnitude today would cause widespread electrical disruptions and extended outages of the electrical grid. Subsequently, the track was developed with this aesthetic in mind.
