Overview

This is a dark and stormy track originating from Mario Kart 7 on the Nintendo 3DS, it appeared as the second track of the Star Cup. A few changes will be made in the track port since Mario Kart Wii can't replicate Mario Kart 7 perfectly.

Here they are:

- Fishbones will be replaced with Cheep-Cheeps.

- A cannon will be used instead of a glider. As a result, all the obstacles that formerly blocked the glider will be removed.

- A few bonus item boxes will be placed in long-cuts, so the cut will be somewhat worth it.

- The bubbling pipes will be replaced with the mechanical Piranha Plants, similar to 3DS Piranha Plant Slide.

- Since swaying anchors don't exist in Mario Kart Wii, they will be replaced by the Fire Bars from GCN Waluigi Stadium.

- Since water gravity can't be enabled in Mario Kart Wii, the bubbling pipe that the racers normally drive over will be skipped via a simple ramp.

This track is being created by SuperStarLight and Super blooper kirio. SuperStarLight had the original intention of creating the track, so he asked a hacker who had already created a 3DS track remake; Super blooper kirio to help him with the track. Super blooper kirio agreed and thus the development of 3DS Wario Shipyard had begun.

Here's who will be doing what:

Part By
Modeling the Track Super blooper kirio
Texture Mapping Super blooper kirio
BRRES Super blooper kirio
Animation Super blooper kirio
KMP SuperStarLight
Object Porting SuperStarLight
KCL Super blooper kirio
Testing the Track Super blooper kirio and SuperStarLight

Like all 3DS tracks, this track will have to receive a new name for CTGP-R so copyright issues don't occur. It will be known as Wario Shipwreck.

If you would like to help with this track, see Talk:3DS Wario Shipyard for more information. Help is always welcome!
