Currently the author is considering leaving this first collision bug in the track, but Lakitu will bring the racer forward to make up for lost time. He may fix it if there is a solution in later releases.

Overview

This track is an upcoming remake of Toad Circuit from Mario Kart 7 created in 3ds Max, and is the first Custom Track created by SKmarioman. The track is aimed to be very close to the original track, the only major change being the glider ramp that has been moved closer to the bridge to make it possible to successfully jump over the bridge in Mario Kart Wii. The entire model has been created from scratch, excluding details that were already identical to Luigi Circuit in the original track to begin with.

Known Bugs

As demonstrated in the preview video, getting hit by a Spiny Shell or Bob-omb when on the bridge will prompt Lakitu to pull the player almost an entire lap backwards due to coming in contact with the fall boundary. The author has tried to prevent this by putting an invisible collision plane just under the fall boundary, but this brought a lot of other bugs including:

  • Not being able to make the jump without a trick in any engine class.
  • The camera being forced slightly downwards when on the bridge.
  • Outright clipping through the fence after not being able to cross it and having to drive back around the 270° turn.

Currently the author is considering leaving this first collision bug in the track, but Lakitu will bring the racer forward to make up for lost time. He may fix it if there is a solution in later releases.
