Overview

Drift Brake Circuit is Bri911's third custom track. It is a relatively simple track with a lot of parts where the player may find it faster to use the brakes than to keep accelerating. The track features many hairpin turns that make drifting and braking much more crucial to use. The name of this track comes from the driving technique in Mario Kart 8 called "drift braking".

Trivia

The author did not know the official term for "drift braking" while creating this track. He had to check the "Info" tab in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the same day of this track's initial release to learn what the official term was. The track was originally named "Brake-Drift Circuit" during development because of this.
